Hello everyone! Thank you for your patience since we haven’t updated our blog in a while. We've had a busy past several months. We traveled back to the U.S. and have been working on many different projects since we've been back.

The Sunday before we left to visit the U.S., a young man named Ryan decided to follow the Lord in believer’s baptism. Ryan's mom and sister have been faithfully attending the church for many years and they were always praying for assurance of his salvation. We rejoice that the Lord has answered their prayers. Please continue to pray for Ryan to continue to serve the Lord. He’s been plugging himself in to different ministries at the church and we are thankful that God is using him.

We were able to visit Chicago for a little over a month last July. We were happy to introduce Liam to his grandpa and grandma, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. We had the privilege of speaking at some churches and sharing about the Lord's work in the Philippines.

We also had the privilege of attending the Grace Conference hosted by our home church, Quentin Road Bible Baptist Church. It was a blessing to reunite with old friends, meet new pastors/friends, eat the delicious food, sing in the choir, hear the special music, and listen to the wonderful messages from the many different speakers! It was a refreshing time.

It’s always hard saying goodbye to our family and friends, especially since we had such a wonderful time being with everyone again, but at the same time, we are happy to be home again in the place where God has planted us. Since we've been back in the Philippines, one of the things that we've been busy getting ready for is the start of our AWANA program. The opening day was just this last Saturday, August 31st. We have over 20 people from our church who volunteered to help out with the AWANA program. We thank the Lord for a successful start to this new ministry. There were over 90 children ages 3-13 years old who attended our opening day. Please continue to pray for this ministry, and for these children. We are planning to hold AWANA clubs on almost every Saturday until school finishes in March. We thank you for praying for us always! God bless… Matt, Rina, & Liam
