Pastor Nelson Flores 1955-2009

Pastor Nelson Flores went to Heaven at around 2:30pm on Tuesday, June 30th, 2009. Thankfully, he went peacefully and we know he is not suffering anymore. Please continue to pray for all of us, but especially his wife, Dulce. She has been by his side for the past 6 months as he fought this battle. Please pray that God will give us strength as we go through this time.

Praise the Lord Pastor Nelson is no longer suffering. He is with the Father and we will see him again. We will never forget his labor of love in the ministry. He loved his family.

Dear Matt & Rina:
Dorothy and I are praying for your family during this time. We are so happy that Nelson came to know the Lord during our ministry at Blue Ridge. What a blessing to know that we will see him again some day in heaven.

Please convay our love to Dulce and let her know that we are praying for her each day.

Love in Christ,

Bill & Dorothy Merritt

Someone shared these verses in Sunday school today:
Phil 4:6-7 "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ."

Praying and thinking about you all the time.

From Philadelphia with Love.

When my cousin Adasil told me about kuya Nelson's passing I was shocked and sad! I didn't even know they were in the Philippines doing mission work. Please convey my love and condoloences to Ate Dulce and the kids. What is Ate DUlce going to do now? Maybe the Lord will make it possible for us to see each other again, in His perfect time.
